I have restored guns in my shop for over 20 years. If you would like to discuss your project please call from 10AM to 7PM eastern time. All metalwork is done by hand with great care to protect the gun. Lettering that can not be saved will be restored. Damaged engraving will be repaired or restored if you like. My Colt S.A. barrels are made in the pre 1910 blackpowder configuration. All lettering will be marked to match your firearms date of manufacture. I offer bluing in hot salt, rust and antique charcoal. If you like it can be aged to look old. Case color is done by the same method as when the gun was made.
